February Change for Change: Reading Pals
Reading Pals is a local literacy campaign started by community members who recognize the importance of reading and the implications that illiteracy will have on our community. Reading Pals partner with local schools to make sure the kids in Chico neighborhoods have the best chance for success. Every child has the opportunity for an excellent education through one-on-one tutoring. Everyone can make a change in the life of one child today! Find out more about Reading Pals at: http://www.readingpalschico.org/
Each month, our Center selects a viable non-profit organization-usually within Chico – that we can support with our loose change. We encourage you to bring your spare change so that we may contribute tangible change along with our philosophy of changing one’s
thinking to change lives. Look for the big water jug in the foyer as you leave the Center. Thank you.
