will participate in the
21st Annual Community Choir Festival
Our Center and several local churches will come together on Sunday evening for the 21st Annual Community Choir Festival. Our Spirit Choir has participated for many years in this festival and it’s always fun and uplifting to join our spiritual neighbors in song.
Choirs from the Bethel AME Church, Bidwell Presbyterian Church, Chico New Thought Center For Spiritual Living, Chico 5th Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Faith Lutheran Church, First Christian Church and Trinity United Methodist Church will each present two favorite songs.
Then the combined voices of all the choirs will perform “Set Me as a Seal” and “That Easter Day With Joy Was Bright,” under the direction of Dr. David Scholz. He is director of Choral Activities at Chico State University and director of Bidwell Presbyterian Church.
Refreshments are provided to end the evening.
Admission is free and parking is available.

Room for Thought Bookstore
Could this be you?
The bookstore team is looking for another team member to serve on Sundays in the Room for Thought. It is a delightful place to be!
We also will appreciate having a member to train as back up to serve on Mondays and Tuesdays for the Olli classes.
Talk with Sherrie or Pat in the bookstore for more information.
Are you ready
for some “BIG” fun?
On April 4, “Big, The Musical” will be opening at Chico Theater Company. We have four of our members in the cast: Macy Boyle,
Tina Bratcher, Mary Carlisle and Don Converse. We are considering creating a special theater party for the April 26, 1:00 pm matinee that would be a not-so-Big-fundraiser for our Center and give us a chance to go together as their cheering section. If you are interested and available to attend this matinee, tickets are $25 (made payable to CNTC) and we will book the seats. Please sign up on Sunday if you are interested. Otherwise, you can choose to go on your own.

I am filled with grace, joy and creativity.
I am here to share my gifts and talents in joy.
I embrace the fact that I am a creative and divine expression of God.
I embrace my success, my abundance and my gifts.
And so it is.

Can You Help on Sunday?
Rick Mazzucchi needs some muscle men (and women) to assist him unload his truck into our shed. We cleared out our storage unit and there are many things we have to unload and store – including approximately 35 (heavy) memorial stones.
Please plan to stay and lend a hand…literally. (tee hee) !

March Change for Change: CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates
CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates, is dedicated to providing quality court advocacy to abused and neglected children under the jurisdiction of the Dependency Court. The CASA program provides screening, training, supervision to community volunteers who work with children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect and placed foster care. Each CASA volunteer is matched with a child and acts as his or her advocate. As a CASA you can be the child’s voice in court, meet with the children regularly to develop a supportive relationship, and work with everyone involved in the case to make recommendations to the court in your child’s best interest. For more information, please call Geneva Jobe at 345-1600 x 2131 or go to www.nvcss.org.
Each month, our Center selects a viable non-profit organization-usually within Chico – that we can support with our loose change. We encourage you to bring your spare change so that we may contribute tangible change along with our philosophy of changing one’s
thinking to change lives. Look for the big water jug in the foyer as you leave the Center. Thank you.
