Traditionally, the first Tuesday in November is set aside for Election Day(s)–it just is not happening today, in our neck of the woods.
That’s okay. There is always plenty you could elect to do here in Chico–especially, during the glorious autumn season. On Sundays now, we will all have more time to share or spend in the beauty of our town.
Last week, at CNTCSL we began our new service times in conjunction with Daylight Saving Time. I was heartened to see that so many people managed to be on time. After all, change your clocks, change your life. And that is exactly what we are doing at our Center…changing lives.
This past Sunday, we also began our new Adult Sunday School study group after service. It was so exciting to sit with 30 + people as we dialogued about the lesson topic. Of course, we talked about a lot of other topics and ideas, too. It was wonderful to look around the circle and see so many new and familiar faces being so enthusiastic about our teaching and each other.
During our holiday months, we will only be meeting for Sunday School after the service on the first Sunday of the month. Yet, we are also discussing other possible study groups that will began after the new year. Stay tuned, as they say.
